• Kay O’Brien

  Kay, who formed AccountAbility, trained as a Chartered Accountant in Leicester with an independent practice. She subsequently spent over 17 years at the practice and gained a wide range of experience in all areas of general practice accountancy work.

  Outside of work, Kay enjoys keeping fit by walking her dogs and riding her horses. Along with most of the team members, Kay is a Leicester City fan.

• John

  John joined AccountAbility in 2019 from an independent practice in Leicester, having spent over 10 years with them. He is currently in the process of applying for his Chartered Certified Accountant membership after passing the relevant examinations.

  Outside of work John and his wife live locally with their young son who takes up most of their spare time. John is an avid Newcastle United fan and general sports enthusiast.

• Katherine

  Katherine is a qualified Accounting Technician with almost 25 years experience in accountancy.

  Outside of work Katherine enjoys walking, days trips to National Trust properties and holidays in the family’s converted camper van (formerly an RAC van!).

• Lynne

  Lynne started her accountancy career at an Independent Chartered Accountants in Leicestershire, gaining her qualification as an Accounting Technician.
  In 2003 Lynne joined Accountability, her role includes advising and supporting owner managed businesses with payroll, VAT, Accounts, Corporation tax and Self-Assessment tax returns.

• Nicky

  Before joining Accountability in 2005, gained valuable experience through working in the profession for an independent Leicestershire practice and also periods in industry throughout the previous 20 years.

  Most enjoyable pastimes, which all include Woody our cockapoo, are gardening, walking and going away in our caravan to favourite places in Norfolk and Northumbria.

• Stuart

  Stuart started his career at an independent Chartered Accountants in Leicester. With over 20 years’ experience he has been part of the team at Accountability for over 10 years and has a wide range of knowledge and experience ranging from sole trader to limited companies and audits.

  Outside of work, Stuart is a keen swimmer and is actively involved in Scouting.
